TSS: You are actually the first person to be featured on www.tokyostreetscene.com, how does that make you feel?
Yuri: “Great! “…; That is such a great thing, because I love car models too. If I can express some really cool images, I will be so happy. Cars are sexy too . Thank you for asking me to be on here!
TSS: Do you like posing for pictures? In other words, “modeling?”
Yuri: Now I like it after my last shoot.
TSS: Tokyo is such a crazy place, how did you feel when 2 foreigners from TokyoStreetScene approached you and asked if they could do photoshoot of you?
Yuri: I was born in Tokyo, I know everything is strange… but both of you are nice, I was not so worried. I have been seeing some fetish lovers on the streets. So it was clear both of you are not that kind of people. Chris has good energy as a photographer, I am always too shy to model, but I think I have done much better than the before. But of course it was little strange! It was like a summer camp!
TSS: Do you think Japanese girls like the attention of being photographed and becoming a model?
Yuri: Of course they do.
TSS: What do you look for in a guy?
Yuri: Nice smile, good energy, opinions of world problems, confidence.
TSS: What’s your favorite car?
Yuri: Old jaguars, Lime green Lamborghini, Puegeot, Jeep
TSS: What did you think of the photoshoot?
Yuri: “runway shoot in lost in translation”
TSS: Where is your favorite place to hang out?
Yuri: My place, near my place. outside of Tokyo like Nikko and also Yoyogi park.
TSS: Are you a night or day person?
Yuri: Night person.
TSS: We know that you are into cooking, what makes you enjoy cooking and creating fancy dishes? What is your favorite type of food?
Yuri: I am a vegetarian, almost vegan. I love spicy foods, I like to buy some more spices. I can free my mind while cooking, I never use a measuring cup and spoon…just some bites finish the recipe. Cooking is easy way to be creative everyday. I used to reading VOGUE, SUPUR, ELLE always at home, so some images from them helps my creative works. dancing, cookin, modeling, etc.
TSS: What is your passion (hobby) ?
Yuri: Reading, movies, music, photos, dancing, meditation, cooking, meeting people who really think about world issues.
TSS: What is your dream job?
Yuri: So many! makes myself and you dizzy If I tell.. I will be a dream maker.
TSS: Is there anyone you would like to thank?
Yuri: Thank your for your nice interesting offer, I am always shy front of camara, lately I had some chance to do modeling, I was still too shy, but I started having more creative feeling this time. “first person to be featured on Tokyo street scene” !! What a surprise!
Chris!! Thank you for your great work, you made me more like a real model and I am now..! You have such great focus eyes, I was impressed. It was fun shooting!
People who were around me, things went smooth. Thank you people who I know and I don’t know, I never thought I would accept a modeling offer before, but people around me always seemed trying to push me into it. Now I feel fine.
