Daikokufuto Parking Lot in Yokohama

Here’s a clip from Daikokufuto parking in Yokohama.  This was taken back in November, 2008 so it was a bit cold out but still a nice amount of Nissan Skyline GT-Rs, BMWs, Mistubishi Lancer Evo’s, Subaru Impreza WRX’s, and some other VIP cars.   People usually hang out at this rest stop on an island in Yokohama Bay under the Yokohama Bay Bridge until about 12am when the cops come and kick everyone out.  Afterwards drift crews assemble their teams and drift outside the parking area at 4am-6am or head out to Chiba for drag racing.  They usually put on a crazy show with almost no cops interrupting.  Stay tuned for more videos of that nights drag racing and drifting to come soon.

Tokyo Special Import Show (S.I.S.) 2008

At this years S.I.S show all the usual suspects were there to showoff all the latest goodies for the import market here in Japan. But this year they brought out the big dogs to show off the hottest products they had. Neez Wheels busted out a Mclaren F1, Ferrari F40, and a Ferrari Enzo with some of the hottest rims on the market. Roberta had a gang load of Ferraris but the Bugatti Veryron was the show stopper for them. This years club show outside the hall seemed a bit more tame then the last and lacking the usual engine revving and burnouts. All in all the S.I.S. show was still worth the trip even if you don’t have an import car in Japan.
